Conditional Formatting in an Excel Report

You can apply conditional formatting to the data table in an Excel report by selecting the conditional formatting options available in Microsoft Excel.

  1. Generate an Excel report in Maximizer and open the report in Excel.
This procedure is written for Microsoft Excel 2010. The steps may be different in other versions of Excel.
  1. Click on any report name on the Table of Contents sheet to open the report.
  1. Select the cells in the report table that you want to apply conditional formatting to.
  2. In the Home tab, select the Conditional Formatting drop-down to choose the formatting type to apply.
