Duplicate a Customer Service Case

To complete this procedure, you must have Insert permission for Customer Service. To copy the associated notes or documents you must also have Insert permission for notes or documents.

Use this procedure to create a new customer service case from an existing customer service case. You have the option of copying all notes, documents, appointments, and tasks associated with the entry.

  1. Click on the case to make it the current entry.

  1. Select Edit > Duplicate Current Case.

The Duplicate Entry dialog box opens.

  1. Select the entries that you want to copy to the new entry, and click OK.

  • Notes - duplicates all notes associated with the current entry.
  • Documents - duplicates all document.
  • Appointments and tasks - duplicates incomplete appointments and tasks associated with the current entry.
