Maximizer Connect for Microsoft Outlook 365 is an add-in designed to connect your Maximizer cloud account with your Outlook on Microsoft Office 365 account, giving you access to your Maximizer Address Book from within the online version of Outlook. In order to use Maximizer Connect add-in, you need to have the following: Microsoft Outlook 365 account . Maximizer CRM Live account . You can use Maximizer Connect add-in in Microsoft Outlook 365 web app, or in Microsoft Outlook 2016 and above desktop versions. In Outlook desktop version, you need to connect to your Microsoft Outlook 365 account. Installation from the App Directory . In your Maximizer app navigate to the App Directory. On the main page of the App Directory find the “Maximizer Connector for Outlook 365” integration. To speed up the search you can use the left-side filtering panel and select the “Communication” category and “Native” integration type to filter out only those apps that match these criteria. Open the details page for “Maximizer Connector for Outlook 365” integration and click on the “Get it now” button. You will be prompted to the Maximizer Connector page in the Microsoft AppStore where you just need to confirm the add-in installation. Note: If you are not logged in to your Microsoft Account, you will first need to log in to be able to complete the Maximizer Connector for Outlook 365 add-in installation. . And just like that you can get started with “Maximizer Connector for Outlook 365” integration. “Open in Outlook Web” button will bring you directly to your Outlook inbox where you can leverage the functionality of the Maximizer Connector integration. . Installation from the Outlook 365 . Alternatively, you can install the “Maximizer Connector for Outlook 365” from your Outlook 365 interface. Click on the “Get add-ins” icon on top right corner to open the Add-Ins for Outlook interface. . In the search field in the ”Add-ins for Outlook” popup window search for “Maximizer Connector” and select it once popped up. . Finally, just click the “Add” button and you are all good to go - “Maximizer Connector for Outlook 365” is now available for usage in your Outlook 365. . Working with Maximizer Connect for Microsoft Outlook 365 . In an incoming message . Now the Maximizer Connector is ready, and you can access it from any of your email messages in Outlook. Just click on the “More actions” icon in the top right corner of the email you want to use Maximizer data with. Activate the Maximizer Connect add-in in the dropdown menu. Connect to your Maximizer CRM Live account . When you access the Maximizer Connect add-in for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the login credentials for your Maximizer cloud account. Press Connect to Maximizer button. Then enter your database alias in the opened pop-up window. Note: To obtain your database alias for Maximizer, you should navigate to the login page of your Maximizer account. Check the URL in your browser address bar, i.e. " https://caw.maximizercrmlive.com/ clientX". The last fragment of the URL is the unique alias of the database related to your account, in our example alias is "clientX". Copy your database alias and use it to connect your Maximizer database to your Outlook account. . After you press the “Continue” button, you will be prompted to enter User ID and Password for your account. After you press the “Continue” button, you will be prompted to enter User ID and Password for your account. Work with an incoming email message . Select an incoming email message and activate the Maximizer Connect panel (“More actions” → Maximizer Connect). Maximizer Connect shows you if the sender is already in Maximizer database or not. You can add an entry to Maximizer as a Lead or as a Contact in case they are not there yet. You can also manage the data associated with the new entry in Maximizer from within the Outlook. Once you’ve added the entry to Maximizer from the email, it appears in the “Added from this email” section. You can now access the newly added entry in your Maximizer. In Maximizer Connect you can use the search by name field to save the email against other Maximizer Address Book entries. When you open a contact or lead in Maximizer Connect, you can see the following information associated with the entry: On the Summary tab: Tasks . Notes . Upcoming events . Opportunities (only for “contact” entries) . On the Timeline: Appointment . Chat . Document . Email . Note . Phone Call . SMS . Task . You can also navigate to the corresponding Notes, Events, Opportunities or Tasks in Maximizer from the Summary page in the Maximizer Connect. When you create Appointment, Task, Note, Document, Chat, Phone Call or SMS in the Maximizer app, the info is automatically synced with Outlook and you can access it in the Summary and Timeline tabs of the Maximizer Connect panel. On the Timeline tab, the Outlook add-in allows you to search for the item by its title or description. You can also filter out the timeline feed by the item type and by specific user who owns the item. To edit the entry details, click on the “Edit” icon on the top right conner of the Maximizer Connect panel. To quickly view the entry details you can go to the Details tab on the Maximizer Connect panel. When an entry is selected, Maximizer Connect allows you the following actions from within the Outlook add-in: Save email to contact – allows you to save an email to the entry as a note . Create a call log – provides an opportunity to keep track of your calls and their outcomes . Create an opportunity (only for “contact” entries) – allows to create an opportunity without leaving Outlook . Schedule a to-do task – you can create a personal task based on the email . Add a note – you can create a note associated with the entry from within Outlook . Schedule a meeting – allows you to schedule meetings for the entry . With the top right “Burger” icon you can always navigate to your Maximizer Live account or logout from the Maximizer Connect. If there are several contacts in the selected email, you can also schedule a group meeting in this dropdown menu. In an outgoing message . With Maximizer Connect for Outlook 365 you can send email messages to your Maximizer contacts from Outlook. To add your Maximizer Address Book entry as an email recipient (To, Cc, or Bcc) in an outgoing message open the Maximizer Connect add-in via the "More” menu at the bottom control bar of your message editor. Then, in the add-in "Search Address Book entries” field type the name or email address of the Maximizer entry and press “Enter” button to execute the search. The search results will be displayed below the search field. Select the the TO, CC, or BCC recipient type next to the contact to whom you want to send the email. Note: TO refers to the primary recipient(s), CC refers to the secondary recipients who are being copied on the message, and BCC refers to the recipients who are being blind copied on the message, meaning their email addresses are hidden from other recipients. The contact is now added as a recipient to the email in the corresponding field and also available for further management in the Maximizer Connect panel.
