For example, you switch from Address Book module to the Leads module, the search type for Quick Search will be changed to Leads automatically. Then you switch to the Opportunities module, the search type will be changed to Opportunities.
Quick Search retrieves opportunities by searching objective and description.

Quick Search retrieves cases by searching subject and description. To retrieve cases by Address Book entries, use the Quick Search Parameter, Address Book Entry.
You can also use the parameter to search a case by case number. For example, if you want to retrieve a case with a specific case number, select Case Number. The search text should look like this: caseno:00099.
